Who am I?

elcome, my name is Pankaj Sangwan and I am a full-stack Web Application Developer and Software Developer who loves to write programs to build great products and help businesses succeed with their goals. I appreciate good design and I am seeing it's importance more than ever in today's apps, websites and products. I have a Master degree in Computer Application from Punjab Technical University, and my primary focus and inspiration for my studies are Web Development. When I'm not coding, I prefer to be somewhere in Canada, near a body of water, hill stations or exploring. I'm always traveling to new places! I am both driven and self-motivated, and I am constantly experimenting with new technologies and techniques. I am very passionate about Web Development and strive to better myself as a developer, and the development community as a whole.

I have been working professionally in software development since 2012 and I develop in both Java, PHP and Python, though I primarily use PHP, Shopify, WordPress. I am experienced in both front and back-end development, and I am proficient in HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and SQL/MySQL/PostgreSQL, to name a few. I am also proficient in many non-web-based languages, including but not limited to Java, Scheme/Racket, C, C++ and MIPS Assembly. I have also worked on some smaller Java projects and have used the language to create one-time use tools for data processing and similar purposes.

Experience

I am a Wordpress, Shopify Certified Professional Web Developer and have been developing enterprise solutions using the Wordpress content management system since 2009. I have worked on over hundred different Wordpress solutions, ranging from a major crowdfunding and E-commerce. In many projects, client's require the ability to manage the content of their website. To do this, I integrate front-end templates into WordPress themes and offer custom functionality via PHP.

Since 2009, I have been working with responsive design integration and have experimented with several responsive techniques and tools. I have worked with Twitter Bootstrap, although I prefer to add responsive support manually, whenever possible. I am a very big fan of using media queries on websites. The work I provide is of highest quality, fully responsive, and tested in a wide range of devices. I take great care to ensure each project is well-documented and easily maintainable so you can enhance a website as your company grows.
